Review mechanical drawings and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
ResponsibilitiesReview mechanical drawings and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.Determine product dimensions and tolerances.Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machinery work.Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and specialized or advanced variation tools for precision machining operations.Essential SkillsBlueprint readingExperience with CNC Mill and CNC LatheKnowledge of G & M codesFamiliarity with manual machiningProficiency with micrometers and calipersExperience with machining, mill, and lathe operationsAbility to perform setups and machining operations on Fanuc and Haas machinesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a machine shop environmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawingsStrong mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and tolerancesWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
