**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** The CNC Machinist position supports the mission by responsibly setting up, operating, and maintaining both automated and manual machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses, to produce precision metal parts and components according to mechanical drawings, schematics, or engineering specifications. **Responsibilities** + Set up, tool selection, and operation of parts with standard or custom specifications. + Utilize Fanuc controls to input G & M code. + Calculate feeds and speeds for machining operations. + Follow setup sheets accurately. + Study mechanical drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of the finished workpiece. + Verify conformance of finished workpiece as specified. + Use and interpret results from various measuring tools. + Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + 3 or more years of experience with lathe/milling. + Mastery of CNC Operating. + Ability to use Fanuc controls. + Proficiency in calculating feeds and speeds. + Experience in setting up and operating machine tools. + Knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications. + High School Diploma or equivalent. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with CNC Mill and machine tools. + Forklift experience preferred. **Why Work Here?** Great long-term opportunity with full benefits paid for by the company and all dependents covered after 1 year of work. 80 hours of PTO at 2 years.
