**Job Title: CNC Grinding Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking two CNC Grinding Operators to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for operating various five-axis CNC grinding machines, including EWAG, STUDER, and STAR CUTTER GRINDER. You will set up and operate your own machines, adjust speeds and feeds, and perform changeovers. This role also requires you to use AutoCAD or NX for programming, which will be taught, and to read blueprints and perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. **Responsibilities** + Operate various five-axis CNC grinding machines (EWAG, STUDER, STAR CUTTER GRINDER). + Set up and operate your own machines. + Adjust speeds and feeds and add/remove tooling as needed. + Run two machines simultaneously, if required. + Perform changeovers on machines with cycle times up to six hours. + Use AutoCAD or NX for programming (training provided). + Read blueprints accurately. + Perform quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Work in both job shop and production run environments. **Essential Skills** + 1-2+ years of CNC machining experience (mill or lathe experience acceptable). + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to read and use digital micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Ability to set up and operate your own machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude (e.g., farm hands, automotive mechanics, military mechanics). + Experience with blueprint reading (training provided). **Why Work Here?** We offer bi-weekly pay, a 401K match up to 6% dollar for dollar, and a range of benefits from multiple vendors. This is a direct hire position. **Work Environment** Our company is a CNC grinding shop that manufactures cutting tools for the automotive, aerospace, and various other industries. The facility is climate-controlled, and you will be working on the 3rd shift (11 PM to 7 AM) with a shift differential.
