Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machinist for our machine shop located in Port of Tacoma. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision machining, working with jigs and fixtures, and automating processes. The role involves setting up complex machinery and creating high-quality, production-ready parts using Okuma controls.
ResponsibilitiesOperate machine tools to make precision metal parts.Use measuring instruments and precision tools to make metal parts.Work from drawings or other instructions to make metal parts.Essential SkillsAt least 3-5 years of Mill experience.Experience with simple programming.3 & 4 axis experience.Working knowledge of G&M codes.Good attendance and a go-getter mentality.Additional Skills & QualificationsOwn tools.Manual machining experience.Lathe experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based in a large machine shop that can be dirty, loud, cold in the winter, or hot in the summer. The available shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The shop is equipped with complex machinery and requires a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, Washington.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
