Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate Mazak CNC machines, including Laser and Plasma machines. The ideal candidate will perform daily startup and shutdown procedures on CNC equipment, routine maintenance on Laser & Plasma machines, and monitor assist gas pressures while maintaining gas inventory. Additional responsibilities include staging raw materials, maintaining the dust collector service, programming the machine, and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesOperate Mazak CNC machines, including Laser and Plasma machines.Perform daily startup and shutdown procedures on CNC equipment.Conduct routine maintenance on Laser & Plasma machines, including optical alignment and beam focus.Diagnose and resolve cut quality issues.Monitor assist gas pressures and maintain gas inventory.Stage raw materials for processing.Maintain daily dust collector service and routine maintenance of the filter system.Program the CNC machines as needed.Assist other CNC operators with their duties, including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging.Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.Essential Skills1+ year of experience operating CNC Fiber Laser and CNC Plasma cutting machines.Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to learn or have some working knowledge of NC code.Excellent attendance record.Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with HAAS CNC machines preferred but not required.Ability to work additional hours as needed, including potential 10-hour days during the week before calling a Saturday.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a production shop environment that is very spread out and clean. The facility is not climate controlled, so temperatures will vary with the weather. Steel-toed boots are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
