**Job Title: CNC Machinist**

**Responsibilities**
+ Use data collection in ERP software to log time.
+ Read work order, flow sheets, and part drawing to determine all aspects of the job to be manufactured.
+ Check blueprint dimensions using manual inspection equipment.
+ Load and verify tools and fixtures.
+ Make basic fixtures.
+ Pull material from the staging area for specific jobs and verify correctness to the WOPAC.
+ Proficient with setup on 3 axis mills.
+ Setup basic 2 axis Lathe work.
+ Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements.
+ Upload and download programs to the machine from the programmer.
+ Indicating vice straight.
+ Picking up the center of a fixture.
+ Turn in the first article and final inspection to Quality Assurance to verify dimensions and dimensions that were unable to be checked manually.
+ Run all parts required for the order.
+ Perform in-process inspections during the production run.
+ Keep work area and machine clean, practice 5S principles.
+ Perform daily and monthly machine preventative maintenance.
+ Communicate effectively to ensure successful completion of the production job.
+ Complete any other duties as directed.
+ This is a safety-sensitive position.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Basic knowledge of ERP software.
+ 3-5 years of experience or CNC certification plus 1-2 years of experience in CNC Machining, Blueprint reading, Using manual inspection gauges, Editing and writing programs.
+ Basic math skills, trigonometry knowledge preferred.
+ May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ May be required to stand for long periods of time.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
+ Experience with CNC machines such as Brother.
+ Proficiency with mechanical gauges.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
