**CNC Machinist and Programmer**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer with extensive experience in MasterCAM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming offline, setting up tooling, and machining CNC Mills. You will work on HAAS Gantry Mills, machining on HAAS and Mazak machines, and performing the entire machining process from start to finish. This role requires proficiency in editing and writing G Code, using hand and power tools for basic maintenance, and conducting inspections with calipers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Program CNC machines offline using MasterCAM
+ Set up tooling and machining CNC Mills
+ Machine on HAAS and Mazak Machines
+ Edit and write G Code
+ Perform 3-4 setups per day
+ Work with 3-axis machines
+ Machine materials such as stainless steel, mild steel, some plastic, and aluminum
+ Use hand and power tools for basic maintenance
+ Conduct basic inspections using calipers
+ Complete the entire machining process from start to finish
+ Work in a job shop environment
**Essential Skills**
+ MasterCAM Programming
+ Experience with Lathes and Mills
+ Proficient in G Codes and Blueprints
+ Previous experience in a job shop environment
+ Experience with HAAS Machines
**Work Environment**
Work in a very clean job shop environment located in Munster, IN. The facility is brand new, with great lighting, temperature regulation, and cleanliness. Dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, long sleeve shirts, and PPE. The culture is one where employees often work independently or with one other person, taking full responsibility for their tasks. The shift is from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with very little overtime.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
