Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist and Programmer to join our team. This individual will primarily be responsible for machining parts, but will also assist with set-up and programming. The successful candidate will operate and set up various Milling Machines, perform tool changes, offsets, and edit programs. Experience with Fusion 360 is highly valued and will be compensated accordingly.
ResponsibilitiesMachine parts using CNC Milling Machines.Assist with set-up and programming of machines.Operate and set up various Haas Mills, including 2 VF-2SS, 2 Mini Haas Mills, 1 VF 4SS 5-Axis Haas Mill, and 1 Haas DM2 Vertical Mill.Perform tool changes and offsets.Edit programs as necessary.Conduct inspections and read blueprints to ensure precision and accuracy.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year experience as a high-level CNC mill or lathe operator.Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.Experience with offsets, tool changes, and program editing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC Haas mills or lathes.Set-up experience.Proficiency in Fusion 360.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a small machine shop with a total of 11 employees. The facility is equipped with advanced milling and turning equipment, including multiple Haas Milling Centers and CNC Turning Centers. The shop primarily works with aluminum, which constitutes 80-85% of the materials used. The environment is temperature-controlled, well-lit, and clean, ensuring a comfortable and safe workspace. The dress code is casual, appropriate for a manufacturing setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
