**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** Join our team as a CNC Machinist and contribute to the manufacturing of stainless food processing equipment. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, focusing primarily on lathes. You will work with new machines from brands like Doosan and Haas, and utilize controls such as Fanuc. Responsibilities also include performing quality inspections using micrometers and calipers, handling multiple setups, tooling changes, and editing programs at the machine as needed. This role involves working with a variety of parts in low volumes, rather than repetitive production-based machining. **Hard Skills** + Setting up and running CNC mills and lathes + Using micrometers and calipers + Editing programs at machine + Handling multiple setups and tooling changes **Soft Skills** + Ability to work independently + Adaptability to changing schedules + Attention to detail **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in WHITEWATER, Wisconsin. **Work Environment** Our facility offers a clean work environment with approximately 100 colleagues in the shop. The 1st shift runs from 6:30 am to 3 pm, with current extensions leading to a 5:30 am to 3 pm schedule. New team members typically start on regular hours but can shift to extended hours based on performance. Mandatory weekends occur a couple of times a month, with Saturday shifts from 5:30 am to 11:30 am. The 2nd shift is available from 3 pm to 1 am, Monday through Thursday, with optional hours on Friday.
