We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining parts for the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries with tight tolerances. The role requires expertise in editing programs, selecting proper tooling, understanding controls (Fanuc), reading blueprints, and using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. The CNC Machinist must also be able to zero out the X, Y, and Z axes before starting new jobs and perform tool touch-offs to set the proper tooling height.
ResponsibilitiesMachine parts for the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.Ensure tight tolerances during machining processes.Edit CNC programs and select appropriate tooling.Understand and use Fanuc controls.Read and interpret blueprints.Use measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.Zero out X, Y, and Z axes before starting new jobs.Perform tool touch-offs to set proper tooling height from XYZ axes.Essential SkillsExperience with boring mill and CNC machining.Proficiency in programming with Vizi, Work NC, or Mastercam.Knowledge of Fanuc controls or other programming languages.Ability to read blueprints.Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.Work EnvironmentWork in a facility with two shops on the premises, equipped with large CNC machines. The day shift runs from 6 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. The facility is fairly clean, providing a comfortable work environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00
