We currently have an exciting opportunity as a CNC Machinist! This role is based in our facility in Preston, Idaho and reports to the Hiring Manager.
The hours are flexible; you can work either 4x 10 hour days, or Mo - Fri. The starting rate is $27.00+ per hour.

Job Summary
We are seeking an expert CNC Machinist with strong CNC programming skills. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CNC programming, machine setup, and operation, with proficiency in Mastercam or a similar software. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, operate various machining tools, and ensure precision in fabrication.
Principal Responsibilities
+ Plan and layout work assignments from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
+ Set up, program, and operate CNC machines, including lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
+ Utilize Mastercam CAD/CAM software to program CNC equipment efficiently.
+ Perform material welding (PVC, CPVC) following accurate procedures.
+ Use various cutting and hand tools for plastic fabrication.
+ Maintain an inventory of tools, cutting supplies, and welding equipment.
+ Perform equipment inspections and minor maintenance, reporting vital repairs.
+ Train and guide other machinists or helpers as needed.
Requirements
+ Previous CNC machining and programming experience required.
+ Mastercam or equivalent CAD/CAM software proficiency preferred.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and pipe specifications.
+ Knowledge of powered cutting equipment and fabrication processes.
+ Basic math skills, including trigonometry and geometry.
+ Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
+ Understanding of health and safety practices.
