Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist Lead for our 2nd shift. This role involves leading a team of 4 operators and being a hands-on working lead. You will be responsible for operating, setting up, and editing CNC equipment, including lathes, verticals, and horizontals. A thorough understanding of prints and the ability to perform in-process inspections and verify parts using measuring devices are crucial for this role.
ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 4 CNC operators.Operate, set up, and edit CNC equipment, including lathes, verticals, and horizontals.Read, understand, and follow prints.Productively operate machines and perform basic tool changes.Perform manual de-burring as needed.Conduct in-process inspections of machined components.Verify parts for conformance to specifications using measuring devices.Implement process improvements.Essential Skills & Qualifications3 years of CNC Lead experience.5 years of experience running and setting up a CNC Lathe machine.Proficiency in G-Code program editing.Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.Ability to read blueprints.Strong experience in CNC lathe machining.Experience with CNC milling machines and CNC programming.Ability to operate and set up CNC machines.CNC programming skills.Benefits

Work Environment
The shop is well laid out, organized, and clean overall. It has fans but is not temperature controlled, so it can get cold in winter and hot in summer when temperatures reach 90 degrees outside. The dress code requires steel-toed boots. The shop consists of approximately 30 employees, including those in hydraulic and electric assembly, and quality assurance. The shop is equipped with CNC machines and lathes, including HAAS, Moriseiki Doosan, and manual machines for rework/fixturing.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64480.00/yr.
$150/month for perfect attendance and an additional opportunity to be entered into a drawing for $1,000 for perfect attendance in a quarter
