**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our rotating equipment repair shop, specializing in the refurbishment of pumps, compressors, and turbines. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and editing CNC Milling machines, both vertically and horizontally, using Fanuc controllers, and machining medium to large-sized parts to tight tolerances on a variety of metals. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints to set up and edit CNC Milling machines using Fanuc controllers. + Perform CNC machining on medium to large-sized parts to tight tolerances. + Work with a variety of metals in a job shop setting. + Set up and edit vertical and horizontal milling machines. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience with CNC milling. + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Experience with Fanuc controllers for setups and edits. + Capability to machine medium to large parts with tight tolerances. + Experience with vertical and horizontal milling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with CNC machining on rotating equipment parts (pumps, turbines, compressors). + Knowledge of exotic metals. + CNC programming skills. + Manual machining experience. + Experience with Horizontal Boring Mill and line boring. **Why Work Here?** Our small, down-to-earth shop offers a job shop environment with exciting new projects and opportunities to learn and train on various machines. Although the shops are not climate controlled, they offer a dynamic environment with large parts and unique machines. Interaction and collaboration among CNC machinists, manual machinists, mechanics, and inspectors are encouraged. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, a work shirt, and safety glasses. The standard shift is 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime. During busy periods, shifts may extend from 5:00am to 5:00pm or switch to a night shift from 5:00pm to 5:00am for a few weeks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
