Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist (Lathe Operator)!

Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Operator ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role? A company we're recruiting for is looking for a dedicated and skilled machinist to join their team. These will be DIRECT HIRE positions, where you will be hired directly onto the company's payroll as their employee.

What We Need From You:

Solid understanding of basic machining operations. Proficiency in using inspection and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with basic machine maintenance, including replenishing lubricants and greasing chucks. Knowledge of banding equipment and overhead crane operations. Capacity to work a full shift in a physically demanding role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Machine workpieces to specifications according to prints and programs. Inspect and gauge workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality. Perform deburring on sharp edges and stencil part numbers and initials as required. Band parts securely for shipping. Maintain fluid levels, replace filters, and handle routine maintenance tasks. Keep the workspace clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Physical Demands of the Job:

Physically load and secure product using cranes.  Mark, maneuver, and secure workpieces with precision, often requiring bending, lifting, and entry into machine areas. Measure workpieces using gauges weighing between 20 and 80 pounds. Carry 5-gallon buckets of coolant (weighing up to 70 pounds) for distances of up to 125 feet. Utilize sledgehammers or dead blow hammers for setups, as required. Safely push, pull, and position materials to ensure proper machining alignment.
