**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
As a CNC Machinist, you will set up, check programs, and operate CNC machining equipment. You will work with horizontal 3-axis OKK machines and be responsible for maintaining tight tolerances of .0005 inches. Additionally, you will load parts into the machine, cycle the machine, and detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
+ Work with horizontal 3-axis OKK machines.
+ Edit CAM/CAD software programs as needed.
+ Maintain tight tolerances of .0005 inches.
+ Load parts into the machine and cycle the machine.
+ Detect and address malfunctions in machine operations.
+ Perform tool changes and offsets.
+ Conduct quality inspections using dial gauges.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience setting up jobs (6-12 per day).
+ Proficiency with CNC mill operations on horizontal machines.
+ Ability to run jobs and make offsets.
+ Strong quality inspection skills with dial gauges.
+ Experience maintaining tight tolerances (+ or - 5 tenths which is .0005 inches).
+ Quick learning ability and willingness to learn.
+ Experience with tool changes.
+ Knowledge of CAM software and ability to edit programs at the machine.
+ High School Diploma.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with OKK machines.
+ Familiarity with Fanuc Controls.
+ Experience in the plastic injection mold industry.
+ Proficiency with MasterCAM software or Solidworks.
+ Experience with process changes and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Work Environment**
