JSG is hiring a Repair Technician - CNC for our client in Simi Valley, CA.
Must have experience working on CNC machines!
You will be performing troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels. This involves working on equipment that includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fluid handling systems.
Job Duties: Perform troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels Document project activities and prepare appropriate operating standards and/or maintenance procedures for all equipment and processes Complete documentation process for machinery usage, equipment maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of maintenance equipment shop. Maintain familiarity with state of the art manufacturing equipment and processes, and relationships with appropriate equipment vendors and suppliers Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. High School Diploma/GED required; Trade or technical certification preferred. Must have 8+ years of preventative maintenance experience. Must have working technical knowledge including hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical repair and PLC. Must have excellent verbal and written skills. Must be able to coordinate multiple job effectives and handle detailed and broad range projects while meeting deadlines. Must have experience with software interface tools for Allen Bradley or GE Fanuc, PLCs and windows based software preferred. You will need to have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision required. Pay rate: $35-$38 DOE
