**Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team as a Team Lead. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC maintenance, particularly with Siemens Controls, G&L or Cincinnati machines, and strong experience in mechanical and electrical components. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines, as well as leading a team of technicians. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines. + Install ball screws and properly fit bearings to set capture loads. + Understand and adjust machine tool geometry. + Rebuild spiral and gear boxes. + Perform test bar, draw bar, and forceguard tests. + Utilize hand and pneumatic tools for milling, drilling, and reaming. + Conduct CNC electrical troubleshooting. + Read and interpret PLC Ladder Logic for troubleshooting. + Perform electrical troubleshooting from 24V to 480V. + Read blueprints and understand geometric tolerances. + Interpret CMM reports. + Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience as a CNC Maintenance Technician. + Proficiency with Siemens Controls. + Experience with Giddings & Lewis Boring Mills and Cincinnati Mills. + Strong experience in milling, drilling, and reaming. + Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools. + Experience in CNC electrical troubleshooting. + Proficiency in reading PLC Ladder Logic. + Electrical troubleshooting experience (24V - 480V). + Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerances. + Experience interpreting CMM reports. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Any formal schooling or degree is a plus. **Why Work Here?** At our company, we value our team members and offer a range of benefits to ensure a supportive and rewarding work environment. The job involves working Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts initially, with a potential transition to an Alternative Work Schedule (AWS) once the full project team is staffed. Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting/moving over 50 pounds.
