We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install and service CNC machines in manufacturing facilities. This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure our customers' machinery operates efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesReceive daily project assignmentsInstall machines into customer facilitiesPerform reactive troubleshooting and maintenanceWork with electrical systems including 24V-230V AC/DC, power supplies, slices, breakers, starters, drives (Fanuc), and servosRead ladder logic and troubleshoot using volt meters and megohmmetersHandle mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, screws, 3-phase motors, bolts, and spindlesInstall software, primarily Winmax, when necessaryPrimarily work on Hurco and Smart machinesEssential SkillsExperience with mechanical maintenance including motors, bearings, and spindlesExperience with electrical maintenance including 24V-230V AC/DCFamiliarity with Fanuc or Hurco systemsProficiency with voltmeters and megohmmetersAbility to read schematics and blueprintsPLC troubleshooting experienceAbility to work autonomously and independentlyExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This role requires travel to various manufacturing facilities across Ohio and Indiana, working in diverse industrial environments. Standard work week is 40-50 hours, primarily 1st shift from 7:30am-5:30pm, with start and end times varying based on customer locations. Most customers are within a one-hour drive.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
