Daily/Local Travel- most travel is 1hr commute range around Dayton, Cinci, and Columbus area.

Standard work hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with a typical workweek of 40-50 hours.

Pay:$35-$40hr (depends on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to install and service CNC machines in various manufacturing facilities. This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure the proper functioning of high-precision machinery.

ResponsibilitiesReceive daily project assignmentsInstall machines into customer facilitiesPerform reactive troubleshooting and maintenanceHandle 60% electrical and 40% mechanical tasksWork with electrical systems: 24V-230V AC/DC, power supplies, slices, breakers, starters, drives (Fanuc), servos, computers, and controllersRead ladder logic and troubleshoot with voltmeters and megohmmetersWork with mechanical systems: hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, screws, 3-phase motors, bolts, and spindlesInstall software, primarily WinmaxPrimarily work on Hurco and Smart machinesEssential SkillsExperience with Hurco, Smart, Okuma, Hwacheon, and Star CNC machinesProficiency in mechanical maintenance: motors, bearings, and spindlesProficiency in electrical maintenance: 24V-230V AC/DCExperience with Fanuc or Hurco systemsExperience with voltmeters and megohmmetersAbility to work independently and autonomouslyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read schematics and blueprintsBackground in machining and CNC troubleshootingPLC troubleshooting skills
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
