**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist in an organized, open machine shop environment. You will be responsible for setting up and operating various machinery, ensuring precision and quality in every task. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and gain experience across different machines. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate Vertical Milling Centers (VMCs), managing up to two machines simultaneously. + Set up and operate CNC turning machines, managing up to 2-3 machines concurrently. + Perform 2-5 set-ups per shift on CNC turning machines. + Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers to ensure they meet blueprint specifications. + Assist in other areas of the shop when needed, including manual machining. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in setting up and operating VMCs and CNC turning machines. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Skilled in inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers. + Experience with various machines such as Haas VMC, Matsuura VMC, Mori Seiki Lathe, and Okuma Lathe. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with manual lathes and drill presses. + Computer skills related to CNC machining. + Familiarity with inspection equipment and procedures. + Willingness to learn and adapt to new machines and processes. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with numerous growth opportunities. The shop is not temperature-controlled, so it can get warmer in the summer. Expect exposure to oil, grease, dust, metal particles, and sparks.
