**Multiple CNC Mill Machinist Openings!** **Job Description** The CNC Set Up Machinist specializes in Horizontal Milling Machining Centers. The Machinist will be machining parts and operating and setting up 3 and 4 axis milling machines. Candidates will primarily be setting up and operating a CNC Mill but will also use manual machines from time to time. Some manual machining will be required to make parts, and they will use drill presses, surface grinders, Bridgeport mills, and manual lathes. The Machinist will need to be able to take a blueprint and make a part from that blueprint, as well as set up and build their own tools such as drills, taps, end mills, etc. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate 3 and 4 axis milling machines. + Machine parts based on blueprints. + Perform manual machining using drill presses, surface grinders, Bridgeport mills, and manual lathes. + Use CNC mills for part production. + Create and build own tools such as drills, taps, and end mills. + Ensure precision and accuracy using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. + Perform changeovers and setups as required. + Work with aluminum through mild steel materials. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC mill setup and operation. + Proficiency in vertical or horizontal milling. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Skilled in using micrometers and calipers. + Knowledge of Fanuc controls and GD&T. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
