**Job Title: Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Brea, CA. This role involves ensuring the production of first-time, quality parts on time using mill machines, following standard guidelines, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, setting up, and operating mill machines, particularly 5-axis CNC mills. The position offers a competitive pay based on experience. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the production of first-time, quality parts on time using mill machines. + Forecast labor hours involved in producing parts and plan the production sequence. + Write programs and determine necessary tooling for part production. + Set up appropriate mill machines and produce blueprinted parts or transfer responsibility to other mill operators as directed. + Complete work thoroughly and accurately in a timely manner, meeting productivity standards. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with Haas mill machines and 5-axis CNC mills. + Proficiency in setting up and operating mill machines. + Experience with inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Basic computer and standard operating systems knowledge. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma required. + 4-5 years of prior experience working on mill machines. + Experience in mill machine programming and operation (5-axis mill preferred). + Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and calibration concepts/techniques. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic aerospace manufacturing team where your skills and expertise are valued. You will be working in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment within the Machine Parts Division.
