Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team in a job shop environment. The role involves setting up and operating a 5-axis CNC Mill. This position requires 2-3 setups per week, along with performing inspections to maintain tolerance and accuracy. You will also be responsible for completing history cards and ensuring the machine is set up and running effectively.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate a 5-axis CNC Mill.Perform 2-3 setups per week and ensure machine is running effectively.Complete history cards and perform inspections using micrometers and calipers.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy.Maintain tolerance of +/- .0002\" on parts.Receive and follow work instructions to run parts for the day.Complete run cycles and prepare for the next setup.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in CNC milling (4- to 5-axis).Experience in setting up CNC Mill machinery.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in maintaining dimensional accuracy of +/- .001\".Experience using quality instruments such as micrometers and calipers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled area of the facility. The smaller machine shop produces parts for the aerospace industry. Work hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Safety glasses are the only required PPE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
