**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. This role offers flexible shifts, including 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday starting between 2pm and 3pm, or 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints. + Measure and teach tools with precision. + Machine close tolerances and fits. + Adjust cutters to obtain required tolerances and understand the impact on subsequent programs and cutters. + Modify programs and understand how adjustments affect subsequent programs. + Set up and indicate parts accurately before machining. + Write programs at the machine based on drawings. + Select optimal machining conditions including feed, speed, depth of cut, and axis movements and positioning. + Use micrometers and calipers to measure within .005mm or 0.0002”. + Multi-task and prepare the next job before the current job is finished to minimize set-up time. + Run multiple machines during long program runs. **Essential Skills** + Competency and awareness of basic machining concepts and part interactions. + Knowledge of common computer operations to pull programs from the server to the CNC mill. + Experience with common CNC controls. + Ability to read, write, and edit G&M code. + Proficiency in reading micrometers and using other measuring tools. + Ability to understand and interpret complicated blueprints. + At least 2 years of relevant experience with programming and CNC milling machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Understanding of advanced machining techniques. + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that offers flexible start times and hosts company events throughout the year.
