**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. This role offers a flexible shift schedule, allowing you to choose between M-F 8-hour shifts or M-Th 10-hour shifts starting at 2:20 PM. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints. + Measure and teach tools accurately. + Machine close tolerances and fits. + Adjust cutters to obtain needed tolerances and understand the effects on subsequent programs and cutters. + Modify programs and understand how adjustments affect other programs. + Set up and indicate parts accurately before machining. + Write programs at the machine from drawings. + Select optimal machining conditions such as feed, speed, depth of cut, and axis movements and positioning. + Use micrometers and calipers to measure within .005mm or 0.0002”. + Multi-task by preparing the next job before the existing job is finished to shorten setup time. + Run multiple machines during long program runs. **Essential Skills** + Competency and awareness of basic machining concepts and how parts interact. + Ability to pull programs from server to CNC mill using common computer knowledge. + Experience with common CNC controls. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and editing G&M code. + Ability to read micrometers and use other measuring tools. + Ability to understand and interpret complicated blueprints. + 2+ years of relevant experience with programming and CNC milling machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Blueprint reading skills. + Experience with CNC mills and G&M codes. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that offers a flexible start time and hosts company events throughout the year, fostering a supportive and engaging work environment. **Work Environment** You will work in a climate-controlled machine shop specialized in making dies, ensuring a comfortable and safe working environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Apex, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
