CNC Mill Machinist
**We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of machine tools to perform precision machining operations.** **Responsibilities** + Set up, adjust, and operate all basic and many specialized machine tools to perform precision machining operations. + Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto the machine. + Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. + Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers. + Document actions by completing required paperwork, including inspection documents and travelers. + Perform minor mechanical and assembly work as needed. + Possess own tools and be willing to multitask and cross-train on all machines as required. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years machining experience with advanced knowledge of machining operations and tolerances. + Basic math and geometric tolerances understanding. + Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals, and work instructions. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, paid vacation and holidays, wellness time, 401(k), education reimbursement, and much more. **Work Environment** You will work in a very clean machine shop with all new equipment. Day shift runs from 6am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and night shift from 4pm – 2:30am, Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be required on Fridays as needed. The shop primarily utilizes mills, with some lathes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
