**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled setup machinist to join our team on both 1st shift and 2nd shift. The successful candidate will set up and operate Haas Super Mini Mills (VF1 and VF2) and a Makino F5 Mill with a Fanuc controller. You will work off blueprints and inspect your own parts using micrometers and calipers. This role does not involve programming but includes some G&M edits on the machine. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate Haas Super Mini Mills (VF1 and VF2) with Haas controllers and 4-axis functionality. + Operate Makino F5 Mill with a Fanuc controller. + Work from blueprints and inspect parts using micrometers and calipers. + Perform G&M code edits on the machine. + Maintain high-quality standards in a non-production setting with some repeated setups. **Essential Skills** + 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience or a background in operating machines. + 5+ years of production operating experience. + Ability to inspect parts post-operation independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of setup experience. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong team player with the ability to train and coach others. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage with 75% paid by the company, a 401k plan with a 50% match up to 6%, and an additional 3% contribution in the first year. The CNC area is smaller, so the ability to work well with others is crucial. Our average-sized facility runs 5 lines, each consisting of a robot that manufactures horseshoes, staffed by 1 Operator, 1 Supervisor, and 2 Leads per line. We have 83 total employees, including front office and sales staff.
