CNC Mill Programmer
**Job Title: CNC Mill Programmer** **Job Description** Candidates will be working on a variety of Milling Centers, including 5 Axis Makino, 3 & 4 Axis Hurco machines, and additional new machining centers. This role will focus on programming, process improvement, quality, and some training for machinists in the milling area. **Responsibilities** + Program and operate a variety of Milling Centers, including 5 Axis Makino, 3 & 4 Axis Hurco machines. + Focus on process improvement and quality control within the milling area. + Provide training for machinists on programming and machine operations. + Perform quality inspections and document results. + Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. + Utilize microscopes, measuring, and test equipment for inspections. + Check dimensions, squareness, hole locations, surface relationships, finish material defects, and mechanical strength of products. + Use PCs and Microsoft Office software applications. + Program and operate micrometers, calipers, and CMM. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in quality inspection and documenting results. + Competence in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. + Proficiency in the use of microscopes, measuring and test equipment. + Experience in checking dimensions, squareness, hole locations, surface relationships, finish material defects, and mechanical strength of products. + Experience with PCs and Microsoft Office software applications. + Experience with micrometer, calipers, and CMM programming. + 5+ years of CNC programming experience. + 5+ years of 5 Axis CNC Mill Programming. + 2+ years of GD&T experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Medical Device R&D Machining and/or Programming is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a progressive Medical Device contract manufacturer in the Twin Cities, offering a state-of-the-art facility that includes 4 clean rooms and over 40 CNC Swiss machines.
