**Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist who can independently take a part from print to finished product. The ideal candidate will set their own vices, select their own tooling/material, and download the correct program as needed to run the part. The parts vary in size from 2 inches to 24 inches, primarily made of stainless steel.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints and drawings from engineering.
+ Work directly with engineering to improve machining processes.
+ Perform full setups on machines including changing jaws, touching off tools, and building off tools.
+ Troubleshoot machines and make necessary adjustments and offsets.
+ Work with CMX 1100s machines.
+ Maintain tolerances within +- .0005.
+ Conduct first piece inspection using CMM machines and gauging tools (air gauges, height gauges, calipers, micrometers).
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2 years of CNC Milling experience.
+ Experience setting up machines.
+ Proficiency with vertical mills.
+ Ability to perform changeovers, adjustments, set up fixtures, lock out vices, read blueprints, and swap out tooling.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of CNC Vertical milling experience performing setups on CMX 1100s within an Aerospace company using Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls.
+ 3+ years of CNC milling experience with minor setup experience.
+ Experience using Mastercam software to make edits/changes to programs is a plus.
+ Familiarity with brands such as HAAS, Mori Seiki, and Mazak.
+ Experience with 3-5 axis machine centers, working primarily on stainless steel, mild steel, and carbon steel.

**Work Environment**
The shop floor is very clean, well-lit, and organized. Equipment includes 5 vertical milling centers (HAAS, Mori Seiki, CMX 200 milling centers with live tooling) and 5 3-5 axis turning centers (HAAS and Mori Seiki).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
