Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. The ideal candidate will handle automation machine tool electrical maintenance, working on a variety of CNC equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and robotics. You will work with over 35 OEM machine brands and handle equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools. You will also be responsible for repairing CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon. Key tasks include troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. You will connect a laptop to machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues. The maintenance team uses a MMS system to generate work orders, and you will log all maintenance performed using a company-provided computer/tablet. Prioritize machinery repairs based on the value stream of the equipment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled and very clean. It is a machine shop production environment with off-shift hours available: 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM and 3rd shift from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM. During the first 2-4 weeks, candidates can expect 40 hours a week on days until they are up to speed on training. Candidates will start on 1st shift during the training period before moving to their assigned shift and must be open to both shifts.
