Job Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining, setting up, adjusting and operating the CNC machines in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor and maintain the CNC machine properly by SOP standards
Visually inspect the CNC equipment for proper functionality
Set up and adjust the CNC machines and tooling in a safe and efficient manner to produce products to specification
Read and interpret AutoCAD blueprint drawings and sketches
Load and edit detailed machine programs
Read, analyze and interpret technical machine procedures
Use measuring equipment and verify each part before and after machining
Ability to communicate and troubleshoot within the shop between all areas
Keep work area clean and free of clutter
Work independently and as a team member
Perform other duties as defined by supervisor
Operate overhead crane
Qualifications & Skills:
Post-secondary education in machining preferred
Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and technical procedures
Ability to use measuring equipment
Ability to operate the overhead crane
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2+ years in machining
Systems: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. on occasion
Push/pull 100 lbs.
Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Bend over multiple times throughout shift
Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
Steel toed boots
Safety glasses
Cut-proof gloves
Company provided uniform
Cambria’s starting salary/hourly range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
