**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description** Since 1946, we have specialized in crafting various metal parts for a diverse customer base including agriculture, construction, off-road highway trucking, forestry, mining, and other industries around the world. We are currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator for our 2nd shift to work on a variety of Mills and CNC equipment, primarily Mazaks. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC machines and/or Machining Centers to produce a variety of small to large parts with minimal scrap. + Achieve posed rates and record minimum indirect labor hours. + Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production. + Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments. + Inspect parts using different gauges, routing requirements, customer drawing requirements, quality plan dimensions, and SPC chart tracking to ensure quality assurance. + Document completed labor, quality checks, and report errors and defects as required. + Identify the need for machine/tool maintenance and perform minor repairs. + Learn machine set-up, utilizing provided documentation to gather and organize equipment needed for setups. + Maintain a safe and clean work environment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC machines, particularly Mazak and Doosan models. + Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and drawings. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Capability to perform minor machine/tool maintenance and repairs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with lathe and mill operations. + Ability to perform setups efficiently using provided documentation. + Strong organizational skills to gather and organize necessary equipment for setups. **Why Work Here?** We offer a range of benefits and perks including management cook-outs once a month, gift cards for attendance and low scrap, Thanksgiving dinner for employees, and the ability to make up missed hours without attendance deduction. Pay is variable based upon experience. Plenty of overtime available but not mandatory, with some employees working 50+ hours. The shop is well-lit but on the dirtier side. Employees should be able to lift 40 lbs on occasion.
