We have an Excellent Contract to Hire position for a CNC Operator to join a leading Company located in the Yorba Linda, CA surrounding area.
Pay Range: $24.50 - $25.97
Performs day-to-day machine operations in a machine center production environment to produce titanium parts.
Responsibilities:Direct & indirect responsibility over peopleRegularly partners with CNC Operators I-IIIInterfaces with quality assurance and quality control to maintain the quality of work producedPerform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of workRegular utilization of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
Basic Hiring Criteria:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum one (1) year of experience working with CNC Swiss-type machinesMinimum one (1) year of experience working with screw machines
Desired Qualifications:Ability to lift 25 pounds20/20 vision with or without aidStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic knowledge of safety and hazardous material regulationsKnowledge retention of FDA Quality System requirements ("Good Manufacturing Practices") and ISO 9001 requirements after trainingBasic CNC programming knowledge, enough to upload/download programs to machinesBasic proficiency both in oral communications and reading comprehensionAbility to work directly from blueprints and drawingsTechnical skills to produce a finished screw machine part after the machine is set upIndependently load a bar stock and change tools such as center drill without assistanceCapable of performing tool offsets in order to make a part according to the blueprintBasic data entry skills and familiarity with PCSAP skills are a plusComfortable with the use of screw machine production electronic documentation systemAbility to operate one or more types of machineAbility to perform simple set-ups on one or more types of machines
