Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a CNC Operator job in Graham, NC. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. As a CNC Operator you will be responsible for oprating a CNC Hotwire cutting machine. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Pay: $DOE

Shift: 7am – 3pm M-F

Responsibilities for this CNC Operator job include:

Upload drawings to the Hotwire computer system. Load Styrofoam blocks (up to 20 lbs) onto the CNC machine. Perform necessary cutting operations using the CNC machine. Sand and paint the cut pieces to meet quality standards. Recycle leftover foam materials after each project. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following workplace health and safety policies.                              

 

 

Qualifications for this CNC Operator job include:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to understand and work with various measurements (lbs, oz, etc.). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, and calculate percentages using a calculator. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs or 1/3 of body weight, whichever is less. Ability to read and communicate in English. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Company-supplied PPE, except for steel-toe boots. New hires must provide their own steel-toe boots with metatarsal clips (company supplies the clips). After 90 days, the company offers up to $90 every two years for safety boots or shoes.

Performance Goals:

Meet production targets with minimal or no rejects. Pass SOP audits regularly. Ensure the workspace is clean and presentable at all times.
