Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining a plasma cutter and an automated CNC machine to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CNC operations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor plasma cutting machines and automated CNC machines to perform cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal and other materials.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine settings and operational sequences.Set up and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as necessary.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet production targets.Document production activities, machine performance, and any issues encountered during operations.Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery in various positions.Ensure reliability and punctuality to help the company meet customer deadlines and maintain production schedules.Essential SkillsExperience in CNC operationsProficiency with plasma cutting and machining equipmentAbility to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsSkill in setting up and adjusting machine parametersKnowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshootingProficient in using tape measures, micrometers, and other inspection toolsExperience in a machine shop environmentFabrication and production skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detailCommitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safetyAbility to perform physically demanding tasksWork Environment

Manufacturing facility. Work involves a variety of tasks, including fabrication, welding, and machining. The environment can be colder in winter and hotter in summer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
