Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to work on Homag Wood CNC Machines during the 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to midnight (Monday to Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm when needed). This position involves working with 3 CNC Homag Machines, performing set-ups and changeovers, and machining various products for the office and school furniture industries.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain Homag Wood CNC Machines.Perform set-ups and changeovers on CNC machines as required.Machine various products for the office and school furniture industries.Cut laminate boards, clean up surface edges, and drill holes.Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality.Read blueprints and execute CNC programming tasks.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC set-ups on CNC machines.Skill in mill/lathe set-up and operating.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Experience in wood CNC manufacturing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with WoodWop programming.Proficiency in Mastercam programming.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a small CNC shop located in Saranac, set between two farm homes owned by the family business. The work environment includes several large barn-like buildings where all business activities take place. The shop has a friendly atmosphere with little kitties roaming around.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
