Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with heavy industrial machine operating experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read a tape measure, micrometers, and calipers, set up products onto machinery, and follow step-by-step instructions to ensure product accuracy. This role involves measuring products, notifying management if tolerances are off, performing minimal deburring, utilizing hand cranes to move materials, meeting production outputs, and maintaining accurate documentation. Candidates must also maintain a clean work area.

ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy industrial machinery.Read and interpret tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.Set up products onto machinery according to specifications.Follow step-by-step instructions for machine operation.Measure products to ensure accuracy and notify management if tolerances are off.Conduct minimal deburring of products.Utilize hand cranes to move materials off the production line.Meet minimal production output requirements.Complete documentation of errors, measurements, and product completion.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential SkillsHeavy industrial machine operating experience.Ability to read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.Experience with machine operation or CNC operation.Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints

Work Environment

Our facility currently has 120 employees and is expanding rapidly, adding three total shifts. The work environment is in an older facility split into two separate buildings. It can be loud, dirty, and hot during warm months and cold during the winter. Employees will work in specific departments with a supervisor and set team. The facility includes large areas of CNC machinery, welding booths, and racking systems, and we are working on upgrading the facility. Steel-toed boots are required for this position. Shifts available are 3 pm – 11:30 pm and 11 pm – 7:30 am, with training provided on the day shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.40 - $27.80
