**HPC-Industrial,** powered by Clean Harbors, in **La Porte, TX** is looking for a CNC Operator to join their safety conscious team! The **CNC Operator** is responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform various machining functions such as drilling, cutting, or grinding. Your duties will include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final products. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshooting any issues that arise during production.

**Include the following, however, other duties may apply:**
+ Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
+ Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
+ Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
+ Select the appropriate tools, materials, and fixtures needed for each job.
+ Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished parts.
+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth production.
+ Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning and lubricating.
+ Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
+ Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic repairs as needed.
+ Adhere to safety and quality control standards at all times.
+ Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
+ Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
+ Communicates thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management
+ Attend scheduled meetings and actively participate by providing meaningful input
+ Flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant
+ Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills
**What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?**
+ Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Knowledge of CNC programming and machine controls.
+ Ability to use precision measuring tools and gauges.
+ Strong attention to detail and quality.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training is a plus.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS:**
+ Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:**
+ Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
**REASONING ABILITY:**
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
+ Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane. Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
