CNC Water Jet Operator

Pay: $18/hour - $24/hour

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Water Jet Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating water jet machines, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and knowledge of various materials properties. Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of water jet machines is essential, as is the physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.

ResponsibilitiesOperate water jet machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications.Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate production.Adjust water jet settings based on the properties of different materials.Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on water jet machines to ensure optimal performance.Stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed during the operation process.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating water jet machines.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Knowledge of various materials properties and water jet settings adjustments.Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of water jet machines.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in manufacturing as a CNC operator or water jet operator.Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Why Work Here?

Work EnvironmentWork in a medium-sized machine shop in Westminster with around 30 full-time employees. The shop produces precision components for major OEMs and other companies. The environment is relatively clean for a machine shop and most jobs run daily with slight variations. Openings are available on the 1st shift (7am-3:30pm), 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm), and the 3rd shift (10:30pm-7:30am), which is set to open soon.Training on the 1st or 2nd shift will be required for those interested in the 3rd shift.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
