JSG is hiring a CNC Operator for 2+ months contract opportunity with our client in Fountain Valley, CA.

Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machine, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications. Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, such as cleaning and minor repairs. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Maintain accurate production records and follow safety protocols. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production efficiency. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred. Previous experience operating CNC machines is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control processes. Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Pay rate: $20+DOE  #D800
