**Job Title: CNC Operator** **Job Description** The CNC Operator sets up and operates stone-cutting machinery. The candidate will load and unload parts, perform preventive maintenance on their machine, and review blueprints for the proper setup of machines. This role is essential in ensuring the daily production of multiple CNC machines is carried out efficiently and safely. $25 - $30 an hour to start. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate stone-cutting machinery. + Load and unload parts from CNC machines. + Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines. + Review and interpret blueprints and drawings for machine setup. + Inspect parts and troubleshoot issues as needed. + Maintain quality and safety standards in the work environment. + Use basic measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, indicators, and gauges. + Follow verbal and written instructions. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Essential Skills** + Excellent basic math and shop math skills. + Familiarity with metric and standard conversion. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. + Knowledge of basic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures, indicators, gauges). + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs. + Dexterity and attention to detail are important. + Willingness to work overtime as needed. **Why Work Here?** Our Client is the world’s leading natural stone quarrier with a mission to make people fall in love with natural stone. This role is also a union position, and the candidate will be responsible for paying dues from day one. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Barre, Vermont. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
