Job Description
Candidates will be monitoring CNC lathe machines, ensuring parts are coming out correctly and making any necessary offsets. They will use specialized gauges to ensure parts are within specification. Occasionally, they will load the parts into the machine. If a part gets stuck, they will lock out the machine to remove it and try to determine the problem. If a tool becomes broken or chipped, they will need to change out the tool.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor CNC lathe machines to ensure parts are produced correctly.Use specialized gauges such as micrometers and calipers to verify parts are within specifications.Load parts into the machine as needed.Lock out the machine and troubleshoot if a part gets stuck.Change out tools if they become broken or chipped.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of recent experience operating CNC lathe machines.Proficiency with gauges, including micrometers and calipers.Basic understanding of troubleshooting machines, such as identifying issues when a sensor goes off.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Fanuc controls is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a brand new, large, clean, well-ventilated, and bright facility. It operates three shifts and houses CNC machines, press machines, and automated assembly lines. The facility includes 150 employees and 30 lathe machines, with 8 bays for truck operations. The back of the building will mirror the front once fully operational. The facility is loud inside but allows for conversation if standing close. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt, non-slip shoes or boots, and eye protection. No shorts or tank tops are allowed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
