CNC Operator
**CNC Operator Needed In Otay Mesa** **Job Description - Up to $25/hr - 1st shift M-F** We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. You will start in the deburr area for about three weeks and, upon demonstrating proficiency, will be assigned to a machine that best matches your previous experience. This role includes opportunities for assembly tasks such as riveting, notching, and installing fasteners. Our paperless system ensures all necessary setup sheets are provided at each workstation. You will have the chance to learn new machines and assist other areas of the machine shop when needed. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC 3-axis mills. + Utilize Mori Seiki and Fadal machines. + Work with materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, carbon steel, and chromalloy. + Grind, finish, and deburr parts. + Mill and drill parts to specification. + Measure and examine completed products for defects. + Use micrometers, drop gages, depth mics, and other measurement tools. **Essential Skills** + 6+ months of CNC operating experience + Experience with micrometers and calipers + Ability to meet production metrics. **Work Environment** Our facility specializes in making composite seals, primarily for the aerospace industry. The location is a large, open manufacturing setting with a safe and clean environment. There are 67 employees on the 1st shift, 40 on the 2nd shift, and 5 on the 3rd shift. The facility includes a machine shop, molding and bonding areas, and warehouse operations. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
