Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Operator who will be trained in the complete setup and operation of CNC Mills and Lathes. This role involves working on small batch runs, typically less than 50 parts before changing to the next setup. The operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts using micrometers, calipers, and various gauges and fixtures, as well as performing finishing tasks such as sanding and grinding. The position requires machining on various materials including steel, stainless steel, plastics, brass, titanium, and aluminum.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean, with many parts being produced for regulated industries. New hires will generally start by learning 1-2 machines and expand their skills from there. Training hours are from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. Night shift hours are 5:30 pm to 4:00 am, Monday to Thursday, with a shift differential included in the offer. Weekend shift hours are 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Friday to Sunday, where employees work 36 hours but get paid for 40, with overtime for any hours over 36. The company currently has 43 employees and aims to grow to 60 or more by the end of 2024.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Horace, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
