Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. This role involves loading machines with appropriate materials, inspecting products using measuring equipment, recording measurement results, replacing tools, and making necessary adjustments. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and effective communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesLoad machines with appropriate materialInspect products using appropriate measuring equipmentRecord measurement results on inspection recordsReplace used tools as necessaryPerform in-process inspections of Level I OperatorsMake offset adjustments up to .002Identify and change worn and broken tools efficientlyTroubleshoot minor issues that arise after tool changes and offset adjustmentsProvide detailed tie-in notes, address and avert issuesOperate all machines within their CellSet up common jobs within their CellLoad programs into machinesBack up programs to 'Machine Dump'Interpret blueprints accurately to make necessary adjustmentsParticipate in process improvement activitiesSet up, maintain, and tear down work areas, equipment, and materialsEnsure work area is neat and tidyOrganize materials, equipment, data, and workflow to meet job requirementsAdhere to work instructions, regulations, manuals, and quality proceduresProperly operate, maintain, and store mechanical tools and equipmentReport job status to supervisor, including malfunctions and non-conformancesEnsure on-time completion of tasks and review work for quality and completenessFulfill compliance requirements to ISO Quality Standards and the Quality ManualDemonstrate clear and effective communication, both verbal and writtenPrepare, maintain, and submit accurate paperwork, including job reports and timekeeping recordsAdhere to environmental, safety, health, and operations procedures and directivesPromote safe work practices and rectify job site hazardsRead, understand, and interpret lockout/tag-out indicators in the work areaAdhere to organizational policies and proceduresMaintain acceptable attendance requirements and work overtime as requiredPerform other related tasks as assignedEssential SkillsExperience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other common inspection toolsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic geometry)Basic computer skillsExperience with CNC machines, including CNC lathe, CNC machining, CNC mill, and CNC milling machineExperience in CNC setup and operationExperience in reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipmentThorough understanding and working knowledge of all job phasesAdditional Skills & QualificationsSwiss lathe experience is helpfulExperience working in manufacturing with trade terminology and nomenclatureWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
100% of the work takes place inside an industrial office/warehouse environment. Employees work in proximity to moving machinery, mechanical parts, and vehicles and may have exposure to prolonged loud noise, including sirens, horns, and tooling. Employees may handle hazardous materials or have exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, biological hazards, and airborne fumes. The noise level is usually mild to moderate 75% of the time. Shifts available: Day shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4pm) and Swing shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:55pm-2:15am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
