CNC Operator – Wood Working

Closets by Design a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, is currently seeking several enthusiastic and motivated individuals to immediately fill the position(s) of CNC Operator- Wood Working.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities

Operate Woodworking Machinery including CNC’s & EdgebandersWorking knowledge of CNC programs and CNC ConceptsKnowledge of and follow preventative maintenance procedures such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing parts and tooling as necessaryMonitor the machinery production lines and troubleshoot issues in the software as they ariseMaintain good housekeeping practicesBe quality focused ensuring parts are within defined qualityWe will train to produce quality custom closets, garages and home organizing systems. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools. Understanding company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.Follow quality and safety standards. Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule. Understand daily cut lists. Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English FluentlyMust be very good with computers and be able to pick up new software quicklyAssociates degree in CNC machinery, machine operation, carpentry, or other woodworking fields prefferedAt least 1 years of experience with CNC OperationPrevious experience with Omnitech, Holzer Machines is strongly preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are strong assetsAbility to lift up to 50lbs

The Position is located in Virgil, Niagara on The Lake, Ontario
