Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in store fixtures and retail displays, with diverse divisions in wood, plastic, and metal. They are currently seeking one CNC programmer to join their team.

Job Title: CNC Programmer (1 Position Available)

Location: Hwy 7 / Pine Valley Dr.  

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (after 3 months)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Position Summary:
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts. This position requires at least 2 years of experience, specifically with Biesse or Thermwood Routers.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods and sequences. Manipulate supplied detailed design drawings based on best practices of manufacturing. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols. Requirements

Qualifications:

Some Millwork assembly experience Able to understand and have working knowledge of Auto Cad files and drawings, including conversions process to a DXF file Able to work with an understand "E Cabinet System" to convert files to the CNC machine operating format Able to perform quality reviews on design drawing and recommend improvements to enhance the manufacturability of products. Above average computer skills. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure-especially in metric. Good oral and written English communication skills Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions. Two years' experience on routes/point-to point CNC machines. (preferred) Set-up, program and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines. (preferred) Proficient in programming Biesse/ Thermwood Routers. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
