Job Title: CNC Programmer

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our client’s team and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
– Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications
– Write CNC programs using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software
– Set up and operate CNC machines, such as mills and lathes
– Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
– Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
– Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize production processes

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
– Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD and Mastercam
– Knowledge of CNC programming languages, including G-code and M-code
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– Prior experience working in a manufacturing or machining environment

Education:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– Certification in CNC programming or related field preferred

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
– Ability to stand for extended periods of time
– Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
