**Aerotek is hiring for a CNC Programmer** **Pay: $30.00 - $48.00/hr** **Location: Rochester, NY** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming CNC machines, setting up and validating first pieces, and ensuring all parts conform to blueprints and quality plans. This role involves adjusting offsets, changing tooling inserts, and completing necessary documentation. **Responsibilities** + Load and run parts, and perform inspections to ensure conformance to processes, blueprints, and quality plans. + Visually and physically inspect parts to ensure they meet blueprints and quality plans. + Adjust offsets to maintain parts within specified tolerance ranges. + Change tooling inserts and adjust offsets accordingly. + Set up machines and establish first pieces. + Perform first piece validation. + Offset tools and make necessary adjustments. + Program CNC machines to manufacture parts. + Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with GMS for completed parts. **Essential Skills** + Experience in CNC programming. + Proficiency with Mastercam. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with lathe and mill machining. + Knowledge of G&M Code. + Proficiency with micrometers and other shop tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with SolidCAM. **Why Work Here?** Join a small machine shop with opportunities for advancement.
