Cleaver Brooks is looking for a CNC Programmer to join our team in Monroe, WI. The CNC Programmer works with machinery (Amada Lasers, Mazak HCN-5000/50, Doosan Lynx 2100LSY, Doosan Puma GT2600M) which cuts raw materials into functional items. Is responsible for interpreting project blueprints, designing programs and working alongside CNC operators on setting up new parts on machines to produce the component outlined in the program. Must support or performs test runs and adjust until the resulting product meets blueprint specifications. Ultimately this role requires the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, some mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, drive and accountability.

Essential functions:

Performs analysis and recommends continuous process improvements in manufacturing through monitoring and measurement for manufacturability and assure drawing falls within our capabilities Ensures the best material utilization for each product by maximizing CNC program, nesting components, or developing simplified steps. Makes arithmetic computations using standard formulas, calculates dimensions, allowances, and technical specifications. Makes programs from instruction or revisions indicating dimension of parts, quantities of materials to be used, load capacities, etc. Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required. Must be able to work in a high paced environment where on time delivery and customer satisfaction is key. Normal plant, shop, or office conditions. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions. Supports, promotes, and performs in a manner consistent with Cleaver-Brooks values which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our internal systems. Education: High School Diploma/Associates Degree – desired
Experience: Minimum of 3-years
Physical Skill & Effort: Work requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and closely coordinated manual skill. Work requires a considerable variety of fairly steady active physical exertion.
